#1 Recommended Mechanics London

Post by JoeLondon » Mon Mar 09, 2020 11:12 pm

Hi all,

Any recommendations for honest, experienced, fairly priced mechanics / E-Type specialists in centralish London?

Having just bought an E, I'd like someone solid to have a look through her and then servicing going forward.

I've had a Google obviously but I'd rather rely on good experiences of knowledgeable people.

Any help appreciated

I live in West London and there are one or two self-identified "specialists" round here that I wouldn't go near if I were you. Don't waste a second, but take a short run up the A1 to Letchworth. Angus Moss (Moss Jaguar) does nothing but E types and anyone on this forum who knows him will concur that his knowledge and experience are second to none. Delightful man with a super team and a completely ethical approach to business. He went over my car with a fine tooth comb after I finished my restoration and now I take it to him each year for service and MoT (there's a testing station next door he uses where they understand old cars).

He's having an open day on 18th April where you could find out all you need to know - see the relevant post on here and sign up!

Oh - and please try to put your name and car details in the autosignature space.....
