#1 More crap parts

As part of my conversion from US spec to UK I’ve changed the strombergs to SUs.
I sourced the linkage parts from various sources. One part I’ve never been really happy with is the bar from which the 3 drop links connect to the carbs. It never quite lined up and made setting of the carbs harder than need be. I put up with it for a while but when a genuine item came up for sale I’ve changed over.
The attached photos below you can see the attachment points are maybe 3-4 mm off. Not a great deal but enough and it’s as easy to get it right as wrong. Ok I’ve corrected this now but I’ve got other parts from this supplier elsewhere on the car ( suspension bushes etc) so now I’m wondering.
We can’t name and shame suppliers here but if you do want to know then PM me ( Mods change this if need be)
I can tell you it’s not SNGB - so Julian you can rest easy.
