Looking for the whereabouts of a regency red e-type reg no. CAB 9H. 1st registered 8th April 1970. Chassis no. 1R1507.
This car was one of a couple of e-types owned by my late father. Since he died last summer my daughter has been trying to find out where it is. Would be great to hear from someone who may have info on its current whereabouts.

MOT expired on 7 June 2018, no info on xkedata.com. Red OTS.
Maybe someone has a copy of the E Type Register with further info?
Best I can do for you. Let’s hope others will help you more

Geoff

The last International Jaguar E Type Register published was the Eighth Edition in 2011.
No owner is listed in this edition for IR1507, CAB 9H, but the colour is shown as Regency Red.
Cheers,
Dave

P.S. I have now found to attach a photo to my comment this has been changed to being option of an “attachment” tab. I just wanted to show the relevant Register page detail. How do I re-size the photo as this previous option seems to have gone, as my photo is coming up as too large at present ?

P.P.S. Ignore my P.S. as Heuer states at #6 and #8, I should not be using the “attachment” tab for photos. Now Postimage is working, here’s the photo of the Register page showing IR1507 that I was trying to attach :-

Dave, one way of attaching photos is to store them online in e.g. Imgur then use their option to copy the code for the particular photo for insertion in forums. That has always resized my photos.

I hope that helps

Cheers

Please do not use the 'Attachment' option for photos - it is meant for pdf or Word documents. Use the 'P' logo at the bottom of the editor page to upload your scan as a photo. Better still follow Geoff's advice and sign up for a free IMGUR account https://imgur.com/ - simple and easy to use.

Heuer,
For some reason the “p” was not visible to me when I submitted my post - or I just couldn’t see it ! I have used this method many, many times to add photos. I can now see it, but for some reason it is coming up with a “server cannot be found” for the postimages.org site, so I will keep trying to add the photo of the Register page. Must be a problem at my end.
Regards,
Dave

I know iOS has problems with the 'Postimage' link.
