Hello Paul, welcome to the forum, by far the best place for all things E Type.
Are you able/willing to do any routine work? A lot is easy in your own garage when it comes to changing oil, anti-freeze, etc.
It could then be worth your while taking your car a bit further than just local to you. You must say what you feel. But there are well respected E Type specialists in Shropshire, Derbyshire and our own Angus Moss in Herts. I don’t know your area to recommend but others will help, I’m sure.
Just taking the time to welcome you to the forum. Tell us more about your car, photos are always good and if you’re willing to do some bits yourself there is a wealth of help and advice already on here if you search or ask specific questions.

Good luck and keep smiling

I would travel a long way to enjoy the services of Butlin and Sons Classic cars in Swadlincote Derbyshire. Top class family firm, just excellent

I can second the recommendation of Butlins. Also, try looking up RG Bate in Birkenhead. Bob Bate is very good if he is still working.

Yes he is. He serviced my XK last month. Recommended.
