It's not long now, just over a month.

It would be good to know who's going and in what car. Maybe we could have a E-type UK forum rendezvous.

I'm going to Le Mans Classic. About to book train to Calais for around a 7am crossing on Friday 9th July. Back on Monday after a Sunday night in Honfleur. Series 1 FHC (maybe 2 of those), Daimler Dart, Alfa Spider, Healey 3000, Westfield sEight, AC Cobra, 911, Koenigsegg. We're planning to stay off the main route (E402 I guess) as much as possible. Anyone got any recommendations?

Hello,
I will be there coming from burgundy the friday morning and sleeping to this place: http://www.chateau-de-chanteloup.com/CHANTELOUP2008/GB/
I will meet there a friend with an etype serie1 and anotherone which have an mk2 but will come with a porshe (nobody's perfect :) )
I will be very glad to meet you there . With the e type owner we think about the fact to join and souscribe to the e type club to this occasion.

I will be there with that car I've bought 2 years ago to "Murray Scott Nelson" in England. (I hope the e type will be finished for Genova 2011  )

Harry,

Ferries and circuit tickets booked. I will probably go in the E type, unless something goes wrong on the Entente-Cordiale trip in June.

I'll be going with a fellow Jaguar enthusiast but probably not in a classic. His brand new XF will be towing his caravan for some home comforts! Would be good to meet up though. :D

Harry,

I am going as well in my 4.2 series one FHC. I will be accompanied by a 1980 Aston martin and a 1955 Morgan. We are driving on Friday morning from Brussels, Belgium and should be arriving in Le Mans early afternoon and staying until Sunday. We have a place reserved (Morgan and my etype) at the etype club stand within the circuit.

We have accomodation in the town itself and will be eating in town probably on Friday evening and Saturday.

I truly hope we can hook up this time !
cheers
Erik

May be we can swap mobile phone numbers (via email) so that we can arrange for a meeting there or any other ideas for us all to meet up and have a drink/chat ?

Last week end was a meeting in Burgundy for the GPAO (grand prix de l'age d'or). It's less bigger than "le mans classic" but I was there with some friends I invited in my home. Here are some pictures:

I'm hoping my new S1 Demo will ready for the weekend but I still have a few jobs left to do.

Getting the 6.50 Euro Tunnel Thursday Morning, with a mellow drive down and spot of lunch should be there by mid afternoon.

What time are you likely to be there Erik?

Hi Harry,

We are leaving early on Friday morning and shoukd be in Le Mans at about 14.00/15.00 o clock in the afternoon.

Once we have arrived (we will probably first go and check in into our B&B in le Mans town), I will give you a call on your cell. You have my cell number, right ?

Safe trip and see you there.
cheers
