Hi, how hard is it to replace the headlining on a series 1 2+2 ? All the cant rails and trims around the windows etc are already removed.

My Blog also covers this. Its not 'hard' per-se as long as you have removed the windscreen. Probably the hardest part is getting the glue covered headlining into the car without it sticking to anything on the way in and then lifting it up to the roof. There is not much spare material to play with.

Once you have done it you will realise its not hard - just scary :)

May be it can Help... (take care about the temperature with Neoprene glu)

I have slided the headliner on the two pvc tubes so i could press on the middle following the line front /rear marked on the roof and on the Head liner

It's easier all around to stick after the center already glued
