I’ve known a few people who have swapped their big Healey for an E Type, but never the other way around. Anyone?

I had a 1960 Healey 3000 BT7 for a couple of years before buying my 3.8 fhc. It was a great car, similar moss g/box with no synchro on first and it pulled like a train. The o/d made cruising on the motorway comfortable. I drove it all year round with the roof down. No heater but plenty of heat from the engine and exhaust! Would I go back to one instead of my E-Type? I probably would but it would be a later version with the wind up windows and better hood mechanism. I could probably buy 2 based on the value of E-Types these days, which is ridiculous.

I have a Austin Healey 100 - the first 'big' Healey - most fun car I have :-).
So much fun that I bought a Frogeye recently.. ;-)
