I was watching Gideons way - an old monochrome series on Talking pictures TV last night mainly just to watch the street scenes of olden days - well not that old for some of us. The episode was called 'the white rat' and included a nearly new 3.8 FHC in Black or very dark colour with a tan or light interior. The car was part of the story and not just a bystander so to speak. Registration number was 843 YPA - a Surrey number I believe . The car was driven by Sue LLoyd who became known best for a character she played in the soap Crossroads. Before the days when the E-type was used as a robbers car and crashed and bashed on the screen - it was nice to see it in several scenes.
