I recently had a big problem with my newly acquired F Type, with an injector stuck wide open and pumping fuel furiously into a dead cylinder. My normal garage felt they didn't have the gear or diagnostics to sort it, so sent it to a place I hadn't heard of, Barny Jones Jaguar Specialists in Farnham (Hampshire)
The F Type is finally resolved and sorted.
But Barny Jones is an Interesting place. Barny (who I spoke to) started in a lock up decades ago and now has a great set of premises with tons of parking. Very well equipped. Outside, there were nothing but jags, including a series 1 E Type, several XK8's, a daimler sovereign, etc. They do classic car engineering from the ground up, and have a deal with a paint shop in Farnham for restoration work. Very knowledgeable set of friendly staff, run as a family business. Deal with almost nothing but Jags, ancient to modern. They have ALL the gear and equipment that Jaguar main dealers have.
Think I might take my E there for servicing etc.
Anyone heard of them?
