Run out in the E, nice country lanes, but bit of the M3 just before home. A brand new Mclaren came alongside, hovered, gave a big thumbs up then shot off. Probably could have got half a dozen Es for the cost of his car.

Similar experience when 20-30 year olds came past in their new Ferrari and Lamborghini, slowed down and got a very positive thumbs up. Quite surprised that these rich youngsters in their expensive new cars could even realise what an E Type was, but showed how we shouldn’t judge books by their covers.
Always nice when our cars are appreciated and especially by the next generation.

Happens every day here in Derbyshire, people of any age/background just love Etypes.
