#1 The Last E Type Built?

In all the E Type 60 celebrations the usual suspects such as 9600 HP and 77 RW are to be found, and quite rightly so.

HDU 555N also appears and is widely acknowledged as the last E-Type built but is this still the case now that Jaguar Classic is building "continuation" cars? If the lightweights they have recently built are genuinely regarded as E Types then they supersede anything that went before and therefore HDU 555N is no longer the last.

They can't have it both ways, can they?

They are not building S3 continuations so I suppose HDU 555N can be regarded as the last. Also the continuation cars are not road legal.
