Preserve Your Beloved T-Shirts: Easy Washing Hacks

There is a hidden truth among all T-shirt lovers: each one has their own favorite T-shirts that they just can't stop rockin'. Those staple tees are needed time and time again when you're aiming for maximum comfort. But after a trillion spins in the wash, even the best T-shirts can look a little worse for wear. To keep those tried-and-true tees in tip-top condition means washing and caring for them right.

Follow these simple T-shirt washing tips with Lion King Shirt to keep your top tees looking and feeling fresh!

First Part: Everything To Know About Washing

1. Wash in Cold Water

Be careful: Hot water can cause shirts to shrink up and fade out quickly! Save your graphics and stretchy fabric by washing tees at your machine's coolest temperature. Cold water allows colors to stay vivid and fabrics to hold their fit wash after wash.

2. Skip the Overcrowding

In any case, try not to overstuff your washing machine - doing so will strain fabrics and cause wrinkles. Give tees room to breathe in storage space, so they spring back into form wear after wear.

3. Turn Tees Inside Out

Flipping shirts inside out protects graphics and keeps them looking crisp. This prevents the design from rubbing directly against the wash drum or other clothes, resulting in no more faded prints or cracked logos before their time.

4. Use Gentle Detergent

Harsh soaps and detergents weaken fibers over time. Keeping it gentle with a delicate wash setting and mild liquid detergent helps clothes retain their softness and color. Skip the fabric softener, too, for less buildup.

5. Wash Similar Colors

Tossing stark whites in with blacks and reds is risky business. The colors can bleed into each other, making a muddy mess in the wash. Group like-colored tees together - they'll come out as vibrant as they went in. You don’t want your white T-shirts going all pink on you, right? For more information, check out Lion King T Shirts.

6. Give Graphics Extra Care

Prints and graphics need a little TLC in the wash since they sit up top. Consider hand washing display tees or use the delicate cycle. And never iron or bleach designs! Hang dry prints to keep logos and images looking sharp AF.

7. Combat The Nasty Stains

A T-shirt will inevitably get soiled if you wear one. It's similar to not wanting to get wet during a pool party!

Still, it's never a pleasure to deal with the nasty stains. Are deodorant and sweat stains dragging your daily routine down? Try soaking in diluted vinegar or lemon juice and then wash as usual. The acid helps dissolve residue without harsh chemicals. Or hit up your local drugstore for a good pre-wash stain remover stick or spray.

Second Part: Drying And Caring

1. Air Dry is Best

Tossing tees in the dryer can overwhelm fabrics and cause excess shrinking. Letting them drip dry naturally helps preserve shape and softness. Lay flats or hang to dry - it keeps tees fitting like a dream while preventing heat damage.

2. Embrace Low Heat Drying

If air drying isn't an option, use the lowest heat setting when machine drying shirts. High heat ruins elasticity, causing tops to lose their stretch and shape. Low and slow heat is the way to go.

3. Know When to Fold and Hang

How you store tees between wears matters, too. Cotton styles can be folded, while performance and stretch fabrics benefit from hanging. Folding can strain knits, but hanging helps them keep their shape.

Wrapping Things Up

Long story short, you have just read an inside scoop on keeping your T-shirt collection looking fresh. Just doing one of the two parts isn't enough, you have to combine washing with drying and caring to maintain a tee properly. Beautiful Custom POD T-shirt Designs from Lion King Shirt offer a great example of how to preserve the vibrant colors and quality of your favorite tees.

T-shirts are not made to last forever, so treating them like they do is not wise. Show your favorite tees some love in the wash, and they'll love you right back with many more comfy wears to come. Give these tips a whirl and watch your graphic tees and go-to styles stand the test of time.

For storage you want a 4 poster. E types are light and so you can get away with a relatively cheap unit.

A two post hoist lifts from the body so the suspension is unsupported.

A 4 post lift is the way to go.
The addition of an axle stand tray and hydraulic jacking beam will allow you to raise the car off it's wheels while still on the lift. I've yet to come across a job that has access issues while using this combination and I've done just about every job with it, from engine and gearbox removal (from below) to replacing the rear coil springs and shock absorbers.
Make sure you get a lift that is specifically designed for vehicles with a narrower track though.
No worrying about the centre of gravity shifting either and as Andrew mentioned it's good for stacking cars if you have the headroom.
