#1 Leather re colouring
Hi Guys........Anyone have experiance of having their seats re coloured. I have a S2 2/2 with an original Barley beige interiour...I know that they were re coluured in 1994 but now look a bit tired & the colour is patchy...Im still looking to stay with the beige as the rest ot the interiour is good.....how does the re couloring look & wear any views or companies that can bo the job recomended. Thanks Steve

Steve : I did it myself on a pair of 3.8 seats using one of the kits which are available - from memory I got mine from a place in Dorset . The results really were very good, BUT , the seats were black which probably hides a lot ! I soaked the old dye off with thinners, then sprayed the new dye on , and finished with the clearcoat lacquer provided . The seats gave me no problems during the next 15 or so years of use and the finish was completely durable, although of course the use was limited compared with an every day car
