Hello, I have a/c fitted in my S2 FHC and I would like to have it checked over to see if it is viable to get it working or just remove the system. Anyone know a technician based near J17 M6 Cheshire who I can contact?
TIA.

Evening Zei,
Did you manage to get the a/c fettled ? I’m about to have my factory fitted a/c on my 1969 s2 fhc sorted out, and would be interested to read what you did, and whether you needed to replace the Tecumseh compressor.
I have retained mine as LHD specifically to keep the a/c for long runs on the continent, so any advice, from anyone, about replacement bits/servicing original bits would be gratefully received.

If you have a local Kwikfit you could try the free check to start with:
https://www.kwik-fit.com/air-conditioni ... rcon-check
I’ve had three of my cars done in last year or so and great service.
