#1 Looking for 72 EXB

Post by Heuer » Mon Nov 01, 2021 12:16 pm

Just received this:

"Good morning David

Please see attached photographs of my self and my now wife taken with the above E Type in 1970/71. Owning this car, which cost the princely sum of £650, was a fantastic realisation of a boy hood dream, which had to come to an end all too soon with our house purchase and subsequent marriage, it however left lasting memories of the great times we had together and my many hours of tinkering. I have often thought of what happened to it, holding my breath I recently completed a government mot check, where much to my surprise the car appeared! As my 72nd birthday is not far away it would give me the greatest of pleasure to be able to view 72 EXB one last time. I’m aware of data protection, but if the present owner is a member would it be possible for you to make contact to ask if the car is ever taken to public shows or events such as Goodwood, and if so, the venue and date(s) this would take place. I would be eternally grateful for your help and, if it happens, the present owners agreement to releasing such information. Thank you.

Kind regards
Rod Plumb"
