#1 E-type lightweight

Post by tinworm » Thu Nov 11, 2021 12:30 pm

I turned up some parts recently and amongst them was this timing bracket. I instantly recognised it as a lightweight part due to the drive dog in the centre (for the fuel injection). For a second opinion I approached Crosthwaite and Gardiner (who lead the field in these cars) and they confirmed it.
Its amazing what turns up still today. Now I wonder which lightweight this came off ?
