hello all,
I am looking at buying a 4 post vehicle lift which will allow me to park one car above the other. E type at top of course!
headroom is ok. width is restricted.
any recommendations please for suitable lift.

Just dont buy the cheapest ones on ebay.......so really down to price.....for diy have a look at the Strong man products....and also Automotech.......if your going to use the lift to work on your car i would strongly advise you to get a jacking beam....these are not cheap but worth getting.....and drip trays if the E type is on top

I have one of these style to stack cars only. Not for working on them.
This style takes up less room than a traditional 4 post lift, which is what I needed.

We were recently looking at new houses and one was using single post lifts to store 6 cars in a fairly small garage. They certainly take up a lot less space than 4 post or even 2 post. Examples here:
