Burlen seem to be experiencing challenges sourcing various spares for HD8 carbs presently....does anyone have any recommendations for alternative suppliers, preferably in the UK?

Depends what you want...the ususls have some parts....try SNGB, Manners, Etc.....google the part number and look on ebay.....Steve

I've noticed that bigger concerns like SNGB are generally shorter on parts that in the past. It's worth trolling around to the smaller sellers, EBay etc to get things. Their slower stock turnover may mean that they still have stock of what you want.

For example recently I had to deal with 3 separate sellers to get a full set of head studs for an engine rebuild and could only get a head gasket set from EBay.
