#1 Will anyone find this useful, or maybe fun?

I was bored so I thought I would knock this together: http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=184509

Image

Basically it is an E-Type owners map you can annotate with your location, name, photo and car type. Obviously it would be sensible not to put in your exact location but a postcode or even a nearby field would work.

At the bottom you will see a list of coloured push-pins which I have added, one for each model type. If you fancy entering into the spirit simply click on the third menu item 'Additions' and then 'Add marker - simple'. Enter your details, choose the push-pin colour from the drop down list to match the legend at the bottom of the main mapand then click submit. Map is world wide so use the zoom and pan controls to move about.

Please bookmark or write down the unique URL you are given as it is the only way you will be able to edit your entry:

Image

Clicking on a push-pin should open a box with the owner name, details and maybe a photo. Click on one for an example. Don't worry if you make a mistake you can delete the entry or change it at any time.

Would be nice to see a map with all the different E-Type's and their locations.

I am still learning about this so if anyone has any changes or suggestions let me know

Seems to be working for some of you. I suggest you 'submit' your entry, close the browser and go back in to see if it has worked. You can also put in your postcode or indeed click on the area you live to create an entry. As I say, I am still figuring it out.

Tony

When I made the entry it said keep a note of an address link for editing etc. Try looking back in your browser history to find and copy.

John,

I have gone back through my history and cannot find the note of an address for the link. I will try Erik advice but I thing it will refer me to the big controller.

Great addition to the forum, David. It will be nice to have a map showing where the forum members are located, although it may be a little difficult for me to meet with many of the "right side of the pond" members for a brew.

Thats cool....especially being colour coded.

Would be great to get the WHOLE UK community involved.

I had to put my 2 at different but close locations so they could be seen

Nice video from Dave Lacy in Malaysia. It looks like the USA have the most cars flagged so far.
I am sure we can do better?? (or maybe not)
