Recent oddish trip with Lady Devorguilla

Lady Devorguilla is a 1963 Series One FHC (3.8). She likes chasing F Types around country roads of a Sunday. That's how one F Type owner asked yours truly (Lady Devorguilla's human) to do him a solid. Actually a friend of his. Chap's father is turning 80. Name is Dave. Dave had a red E Type (Lady D is red). 51 years ago, Dave wanted to marry Daphne. He wanted to buy her a diamond ring. These things cost money. So Dave sold his E Type to buy the ring. Now Dave and Daphne have been married for 50 years, and Dave is turning 80. His son wants to suprise the old man and send him on a drive in a red E Type. Enter stage left Lady Devorguilla. We did a 100 mile roundtrip for breakfast. Dave was chuffed. Lady Devorguilla did not mind at all.
