Series 2 Gearbox Overhaul Parts

I am considering overhauling the gearbox on my Series 2 due to (I feel) excessive noise from the reverse gear idler. It appears a replacement idler (C20313) and shaft (C20052) are unavailable. Would anyone know where these can be bought, or is it best to just accept they are noisy?

Hello Simon,
I manufacture the Reverse Idler shaft as shown in the following picture; more suitable material and heat treatment than the original.

The following picture shows the very typical wear you can expect when you strip your gearbox.

With regards the Reverse Idler Gear, I will be starting a run of these within three weeks.
