I have no affiliation with Hexagon but have long noticed their advertisement for a 1965 4.2 FHC in Op.blue. Yesterday I attended an event there and so it gave me the opportunity to look around this 10k miles from new car!

The thing that attracts me to these low mileage cars (this one was imported from New Zealand) are the straightness of the panels, with particularly the ease of closing the doors. Also it still retains that authentic Etype interior smell.

It would need deep pockets to bag it but the originality is a thing to marvel, not least wonder how the same owner could purchase such a beautiful car and yet over 55 years put so little miles on the clock...

I did wonder why the interior door handles are fitted in the 3 o'clock position...

Yes have seen this one numerous times over the years it has been on show, it is a nice straight original example, alas no takers as yet.

I went to look at this car early in 2015 and they had it for sale then, same mileage, same price. I imagine others have had the same reaction I did: it seems so precious that whatever you did to it, (e.g. touch it, drive it, replace anything at all) you would immediately reduce its value....and what a price too...so there it sits. Do you think it even runs after all this time?
