#1 London Concours 5th June
Posted: Sat Apr 27, 2024 11:38 am
Spotted this should anyone be in London or care to have their pride and joy on show.
On Wednesday 5th June, the London Concours, in partnership with Jaguar, pays homage to one of the greatest and most enduring icons of automotive design: the Jaguar E-type. Present in all its evolutions and variants, we’ll be showcasing the genius of a shape that was designed for purpose, yet so elegant in its proportions and details that it’s earned a place next to some of the greatest pieces of sculpture ever created.
From the purity of the Series I – including the very early flat floor, and external bonnet latch cars – to the fury of the Lightweight racers or even a subtly enhanced restomod, this gathering of 50 cars is designed to showcase the breadth of the E-type. It tells a story of celebrity, innovation, success and development charting the rise and everlasting popularity of ‘the most beautiful car in the world’.
Welcomed into the private sanctuary of the Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the City of London, selected owners are invited to display their cars as a core London Concours feature.
