Paul, your flag shows you’re in the US, are you therefore looking to import one or other from Europe to America?
Have you physically seen either car? As you can appreciate it is only when you are able to properly inspect a car that you or anyone from the forum can get a truly useful idea of a car’s value.
If you are in the UK, please change your flag and if so then I’d recommend you asking for a professional E Type restorer to view either or both cars on your behalf.
It’ll cost you their time and travel expenses but it’ll be well worth paying. You might even find they know of other cars that would suit your needs.
One on here is Angus Moss, a very well respected restorer/rebuilder of E Types. Look at his website:
https://mossjaguar.com/index.html

That’s the best advice I can suggest.

Your location can be added in your profile and will help us respond to your questions easier.....the flag typically represents your nationality....Steve

The flat floor looks good, seems a bit cheaper than one sees them advertised for, the level of restoration and originality is paramount down to literally nuts and bolts. If you have the chassis numbers of those cars you can start by looking them up in xkdata website if you haven’t already.

The 61 OTS looks good but has a number of non original items.
Depends on what you are looking for (condition or originality).

Hi Geoff,

I completely agree that inspecting the car in person is key to understanding its condition and authenticity. The XKData website is a great resource for checking chassis numbers and gathering more information on the cars.

On a related note, I’ll be heading to Spain soon and plan to visit some car-related spots. I'm particularly interested in locations with historical connections to cars, and I found this travel guide that might be useful, Tourism in Spain Statistics 2024.

Looking forward to exploring!
