Hi All,
So having reversed the colour change of my e-type from red, back to original golden sand I duely sent off the V5C to DVLA notifying them of the colour change to Golden Sand. The relpy I got back rejected that as a colour, and included a sheet of 'basic colours' to choose between.
So to the UK membership with golden sand cars, what colour do you have on your V5C?
My choice appears to be between Gold, Beige or Brown, maybe Bronze?

I'd prefer answers from owners of Golden sand cars... :)
Thank you in advance.

Hi
My 63 fhc was originally OGS, as per the Heritage cert and I had to register it with the DVLA when I re-imported it back to the UK. The v5c I received just stated ‘Gold’ - I didn’t get a choice and if I did fill out any forms for the registration with OGS as the colour (I can’t remember) then they obviously ignored that and just put Gold.

It’s still the best colour for an E-Type, regardless of
What’s on the v5c😉

Thank you Richard, I'll go for gold then!

P.S. The Tan trim, don't suppose you kept any of the original tan vinyl?

Sadly, no I didn’t keep any of it. The seats were too far gone and the rest of the trim had suffered from years of being in the Californian sun. The current versions of tan are very tricky to match with the original as the original appears more ‘orangey’. I just did a full re-trim with a dark tan.
