This raises funds for the NSPCC Childline. You buy one of their plates for your car or motorbike, drive your car on Sunday 27th April, on your own, with a fellow owner of an E Type or other classic car or a whole group of you going away for the weekend (as Ann and I will be doing). It’s not unusual to see modern sports cars displaying the plates.
An excuse to meet up with others, watching out for lots of different cars displaying their plates and showing the public both your cars and the charity you are helping.
Plates start at only £12.50 or you can be generous and buy the platinum plate for £30. Display on your car or motorbike and have a thoroughly lovely day, whatever the weather knowing you’re helping those in need.
