I've searched and can't find a similar thread or reference in the forum, so I'll add this here.

My car is a 1968 build, S2 OTS - Jaguar heritage certificate states original colour as Cream. For most of its ownership, we referred to it as Old English White, but c'est la vie.
Anyway, after its extensive rebuild and re-paint around 4 years ago, we carefully matched the paint to original samples still on the car, and the end result is lovely.
However, I neglected to keep a small supply of paint for minor chip touch-ups. Obviously, the original colour is non-existent in any modern supplier lists, so a simple touch-up pen is not available. But, during some online digging, I found some reference to Ford Wimbledon White being a close match. This was easily sourced in a 10ml bottle for little money. I had an annoying chip on one of the engine frames, and I have to say this is an excellent solution for filling this (at least it is on my car). I will still apply a few more layers, then smooth it down a tad, but colour match is really good. This will be useful for any such small areas of damage going forward.

If you have an area of aged or custom paint you want to match most automotive paint stores have a computer match via a digital camera.
Since old paint is typically a different color than the new it is often a better match than a touch-up of original color.
Also different areas of paint on a car often age differently depending on heat/sun or lack of so they may require a slightly different touch up color match.

My previous owner had my car repainted by a local Ford dealer who did a decent job of it. The paperwork that I received when I bought my car included the receipt for that paint job but didn't mention exactly what paint or code of paint was used. I've found that Ford's Wimbledon White is a perfect match for what's on my car and it's so close to Jaguar's Cream or OEW that the difference is indistinguishable.
