Used to see him often at Stoneleigh spares days searching for Cheney clips Etc. Nice fella.

Met him on a photo shoot once. Nice chap. Drove my car and reckoned it was the fastest E Type he'd driven. Don't know why, its a standard car.

Dealt with him once. And we exchanged about the whereabouts of his two restaurations 860022 and 850062, why he sold them and originality in general.

Very nice person! Definitely went far too early!

As a Motoring journalist he said it as it was, and not this comedic drivel that we have to endure today. I’ll miss his columns in Classic Car magazine.
