Just back from a great weekend over at the 83rd Goodwood Members Meeting. Great racing and Goodwood celebrated the 65th Anniversary of the E-Type with an E-Type only race in the Protheroe Cup with many of the best known racing E-Types. I counted 28 E-Types lined up in the pits. 25 raced in the Protheroe Cup, but another highlight was the 4 E-Types in the Phil Hill Cup with Jenson Button winning driving an E-Type to hold off the second placed Ford GT40 with a Ferrari 250 LM in third place in a very close race.
Well worth watching on any of the streaming platforms just by searching with the words “Goodwood 83rd Members Meeting Jaguar E-Types”, or ITV4 will be showing the 83rd Goodwood Members Meeting highlights on Tuesday 28th at 19.00hrs till 20.00hrs.
