Hi,

I've mentioned elsewhere I'm looking for my first e-type but besides seeing them at classic car shows, I've never really got up close to one. Let alone sat in one.

Is there anyone relatively close to Bishops Stortford who would be able to put up with me for 30 mins to have a look around theirs (whatever type) and just have a general chat about experience? It would be really appreciated and I promise I won't overstay my welcome :)

How about visiting dealers that have them for sale...you can then test drive etc....Steve

Yeah, primarily it's rare that any garage anywhere near me has any up for sale (apart from a couple of £100k+ examples). I'd also rather see a real-world example..

As well as being just an all-round good day out, there will be loads of E-types there - including my own - so you'll have ample opportunity to talk to owners about what they're like to live with, as well as get a good sense of the differences between different models (S1, S2, S3, FHC/OTS/2+2) as well as see how they look in different colours (paint and interior trim).

Your being to hard on you'reself. Their are two many grammar rules in the English language. Its part of it's problem! But I could care less.
