Hey - I like the idea of an E50 picture thread :D

And with so many of us being there we must have been everywhere at once so I would love to grab copies from other people...

I've posted a few clips of the E-Type parade although had to split due to the length:

Just got back from a great day at Silverstone. Weather was fantastic and we drove straight into the parking area without problem although I understand Saturday was somewhat chaotic according to several people I spoke to. Apparently they managed to get 890 E-Type's on the circuit and could easily have made it 1,000 but time, and organisation, were against them. Still it beat the previous Guinness record of 200.

Oddly the picture of the two very pneumatic pit girls is missing despite repeated requests to my wife to photograph them.

It was quite a sight on Saturday, with the track of 3.5 miles virtually full of E Types. There were a lot more E types in the car park, on trade stands and in the paddocks.

Have quite a few more but did not want to upset anyone by posting loads of pictures. But if you would like more I'll post some.

Talking about Silverstone event, it was amazing to see such amount of E types all together. I was having a close look to most of the cars parked in the central area, probably many of you were around with your car, but sadly we dont know each other personally.

Next event of this characteristics, we all have to organice a meeting point with cold drinks available, to have the oportunity of meet each other and have a nice chat.

I really missed to assist with one of my E types, but living in the Canary Island, the costings for me to assist with a car to this type of event are too high, so I went to the event without an E Type.

I had the oportunity of visiting Harry's stand and meet him personally, a very nice and friendly person, with few fantastic E Types on display, as a 3.8 litre roadster in process of a nut and bolt restauration, and a pristine low miliage final edition series 3 E Type, finished in black.

Mario, currently enjoying some nice spanish weather in marbella! Madly we're driving back (with 2 kids - going to be alot of films i think!)

Does anyone know if the chopper had a photographer taking an aerial shot and where this can be aquired from. Guess they'd sell around 800 copies!!!!

You need to go to your Photobucket page and copy/paste the 'IMG code' into your posts (bottom box):

Image

You copied the 'Direct Link' option so simply delete all of those in your post and replace with copies of the IMG code links. They already have the [img] bits in them so no further action is required on your part.

Sorted - was trying the add IMG but actually need to amend the html code too. Sorted and know for future! Will change my rusty chassis pics too!

There must be more members to post pics on here than the few that are on?

No Aerial shot anyone know of? Shame if it wasnt attended to.....
