#1 Wire wheel refurbishment

My spare wheel is somewhat out of shape and the last time I got a puncture the tyre fitter told me it would be a waste of time trying to balance it whilst it was so out of shape.
So can anyone recommend a suitable wheel specialist in the North of England, close to Manchester if possible, who could put the wheel back in shape and probably balance it as well?
many thanks
Ray

I had to have my MWS wheels redone because so many of the spokes had loosened (a common problem with MWS) and they cost ?100 + VAT per wheel so you may want to think of buying a new one or a good used. There are a couple on eBay at the moment.
If you want to go down the refurb route try these people:

Thanks David,
That was the company I was going to use because they used to be based near Macclesfield, Cheshire, but they've now moved to Peterborough - a bit far from Bury for a wheel refurb.

I, like David, would question the cost-benefit of refurbing merely for a spare. If you literally just want to true it up and replace missing or broken spokes then try motorcycle wheelbuilders in Yellow Pages or the motorcycle press.
