Can anyone help with where abouts on the windscreen the triplex decal should go on a 69 series 2? I realise this is deep into anorak/OCD territory, but, just humour me.
Thanks.

I was under the impression the Triplex decal was only on the S3 cars?

I have an original series 1 screen (still in its factory wrapping) and vaguely recall there being triplex stickers on it...
I'll take a look when i am in the garage tonight.

I am not 100% sure this is what you are looking for but as i say the screen has never been used (although its going into my car before anyone asks...)

This is seen from the outside and is in the bottom middle of the screen. The "sticker" is a very thin piece of paper by the looks of it.
On the other side of the screen the design is different

The bit i dont know is if this was only fitted on screens that were going to be exported given the USA references... but i am sure there is someone out there who will tell me.
And for those people after total concours - here is a picture of a quality check sticker also on the screen. There is a third sticker about 1 inch square that is just green (or perhaps any text has faded)

Hmmmm looking at the triplex "dots" my "series 1" screen is actually a September 69 screen so the sticker is probably what you are looking for :)

No worries Kes.... I am getting close to fitting the screen anyway so it was no big deal to take it out of the packaging a little early.
