Hello again, Wondering if anyone has any experience rewiring a 1969 2+2 LHD automatic 4.2 L American import which had A/C.
I want to rewire the car as the old wiring is in need of it. (I think) The car had got A/C which at some point was mostly removed. I want to rewire the car but leave provision for the A/C which I would like to re install at a later stage.
Any advice on where to buy the wiring looms (have read that quality can vary), tips or books to help in rewiring or any other pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all
Robboboot

Hi,
My wiring looms (actually for a Series 3, which have different multi-plugs to earlier cars, came from two sources and actually both were good. They even woked well together, which I was worried about. They came from the Wiring Harness co. and Autosparks, both in the UK. Of the two, I was slightly more impressed with Autosparks, 'though there wasn't much in it, basically they were cheaper at the time. I bought all from a succesion of Stoneleigh shows and Autosparks were the ones to provide better offers on the day and also I was able to pre-order. There wasn't much in it though.
Regards,
Simon

the wiring harness company is another good source.
I dont think any of them make perfect looms without the need for some minor changes though (like bulb fittings)
