I think it looks a complete mess and why can't designers come up with their own original concept without plagiarising the work of others? They will go the same way as many other companies trying to make a car in this day and age - bust! Half a million euros

These designers don't get the concept of less is more. Perhaps being brought up in the bling era changes the view though, and maybe we're just the old duffers!

Phew! Tough crowd in tonight! :-)

I've seen a lot worse and prefer it to most of the fugly 'wedges' and angular brutes you see around these days. Meanwhile, a century and a quarter into the motorcar age, there's practically nothing that can be done totally fresh or new - everything has been tried by someone, somewhere, so it's all derivative.

Are there full shots of the real 2013 F-type out yet, or just teasers?

There is so many "redesign" of the E-type this year... it's incredible. I think it's the forth I see in 2012.

Same engine render, and same air intake on the nose... to me, there is no doubt.
But they are maybe in the same design workshop, or something like that.

The Growler was the one and only made for a Swiss businessman by a Swiss company (Classic Factory) based in Lausanne. The Lyonheart is an avatar of the Growler made for production by the same company.

Have a look at the funny Top Gear show about the "growler"....

The Growler was designed by Swedish car firm Vizualtech and they were hoping to go into production. Looks like Lyonheart have taken it over or bought the rights and then spoilt it by adding a really daft name, a overly large Maserati style badge in the mouth and the bling headlights. No idea what Planet some people are on, but it is certainly not Earth. "Yes, actually I drive a Lyonheart K - that's Lyon with a y not an i by the way".

Mistake, big mistake, huge.

This is the closest car I can think of to a current day E type. Breathtaking looks, high performance, bullet-proof mechanics (Jaguar engine base) and you can buy a good secondhand one for ?35k. The Aston Martin Vantage must surely be the current market sleeper.
