Post by 265bhp » Mon Jul 16, 2012 3:30 pm

Hi all

There are a number of companies I have come across who sell aluminium bonnets, but who supplies aluminium doors and boot lids (FHC) for example

Regards
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Rod Jay also supplies aluminium bonnet doors roof and bootlid for e-type roadsters as does Simon Dunford. All three mentioned are excellent products but on price Rod may be cheaper? I have all my lightweight panels from Rod and they are perfect. Rod will actually fit the bonnet included in the price, which is is great as this job can be taxing.
Kind Regards John

Rod's contact details

Racing Jaguar Panels Ltd
Marston Hall Lodge
Marston Jabbett
Bulkington
CV12 9SD

02476 313545

racingjaguar@aol.com

If Rod is not available speak to his son Lee.

Rod restored my shell a couple of years ago and made a stunning job of it. He has subsequently made a significant investment in tooling to produce very high quality alluminium panels and shells. One of the best in the business.
