#1 E-Type Club sample magazine

Post by GSR 54D » Mon Dec 03, 2012 4:56 pm

Hello

Some of you longer serving forum members will have come across me in the past through forum editorial however I would just like to reintroduce myself as I have been a southern region E-type Club Rep for some years now.

Should anyone have any questions about the e-type club please feel free to pm/contact me.

If you click on the following link it will bring up a digital sample version of our club magazine.

Best regards.

Hello John

I went along to the Black Swan in Ockham last spring as there was a Jaguar day there, very fine day it was too, just wondered if there will be a similar one next year..?, my car is still far from complete, but the chance to see some fine specimens would be great

Kind Regards
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan

I would have expected Peter Spackman to have organised this event assuming it was organised under the e-type/xk club banner. There is currently nothing in the events list showing Black Swan for 2013 but no doubt that could change. I have contacted Peter to confirm.

Should you be interested, the next event we have coming up, is a workshop day in the New Forest on the 26th January at "Walkers Garage" this maybe of interest as you are going through a rebuild!

Regards

John H

Hello again Jonathan

Just heard back from Peter, yes it was him at the Black Swan and nothing there for 2013 sorry!

Peter is hosting at The Tollgate, Bramber (April 14th) instead.

Kind regards

John H.

Hi Jonathan

Walkers Garage is in Bransgore, New Forest, and the subject matter is determined on the day, who shouts loudest!! seriously though things like brakes, steering etc.

Chris lives in the Bagshot area. I have been to his house before a few years ago and am happy to meet up again (ideally a week day!).

Cheers

John H

Ok, both meetings in the diary.. :D

Are you guys both around over the Christmas break, I am taking the Christmas week and the first week of January off, so could drive down one day....also want to pop down to the E type centre, so could combine the two...would that be any good for both of you..?

Regards
Jonathan

Sure I am bound to be about over some of the Christmas holiday and I often work from home on a Friday which also covers the "weekday" element.

I live in Camberley (which to be fair is close to Bagshot) so not that far from you :)

Perhaps we can sort something nearer the time.
