Hi,
I am hoping to attend the above.
Has anyone attended previous classics, and any words of advice re which agents to go through, campsites to aim for / avoid etc.
Any experiences of 'the happy few'?
Any experiences of paying to drive the track?
Thanks in advance for any help,
F

Hi Fenton,
Only been once so far, took my Big Healey down in 2008, but planning to take the E type next year. We used a firm called Travel Destinations,
www.traveldestinations.co.uk. We have been using them for the 24 Hours virtually every year since 2001 and they are very good.
They do a complete package including ferry and campsite and are already taking preliminary bookings for the Classic with no money required until later in the year. We like them because they have their own campsites, completely fenced in with 24 hour security and fairly decent showers etc.
Their campsite for the Classic is inside the circuit right next to the track at Tertre Rouge. I can't comment on any other sites.
Hope this is of interest,

I tool used travel destinations and took their "flexotel" option (in 2012) which is a step up from camping with good showers and loos. However for next year i am looking into a hotel type accommodation in a nearby village.

I've been the past three times with the Triumph Sports Six Club. Tetre Rouge is a fantastic place to watch the cars, and we had tickets for the stands at the Dunlop chicane, and on the home straight. Many of the larger car clubs do good packages, and I haven't heard a bad word said about any of them.

I just checked with travel destinations.com and they have booked all rooms in the Ibis hotel in lemans a total 0f 51 rooms. They are working with the JEC to have all rooms booked by Jag owners. I was booking number 30 so you might want to move quickly.
