#1 The "Twitter famous" E-Type

Post by SEJohnson95 » Sun Oct 27, 2013 1:12 pm

A question for the younger (!) members of the forum like myself

Has anyone been following the exploits of a chap named Simon Bennett and his friend Neil, who were on a roadtrip through France in early September? Si owns a beautiful 1966 S1 4.2 2+2 in Carmen Red, and was posting pictures of his visit to Le Mans, Paris, Reims and many other familiar locations. He is always "tweeting" about his E or his classic 911, and seems to be a very big petrolhead in his own right.

A bit of information on the car here:

http://www.xkedata.com/cars/detail/?car=1E21335

It has since been restored very nicely, and its reg no is JDJ 598D

You can find him on Twitter through this link:

Don't know about the road trip, but his car is actually an FHC and not a 2+2

Funny you should say that, because on the pictures he posts (and from what I remember him saying) he said that it was a 2+2!

Curious, it appears to have morphed from a FHC to 2+2.
