New Steering wheel

Obviously inspired by the Austin Allegro Quartic wheel this is now available from EZ Power Steering - and no it has not been in an accident:

They claim it increases legroom by 7cm - great if you only travel in a straight line but uncomfortable through the corners I imagine.

The Citroen SM has an oval one !

(but there, the instruments are oval as well.... right down to the clock....)

My SD1 Rover 3500 some 35 years ago had a similar shaped wheel and there was never any difficulty in using that
