I am still trying to get a start at tracing the history of my 4.2 FHC.

The chassis number is 1E 32131, was manufactured on 10th November 1965 and dispatched to the Belgian Motor Company Bruxelles Belgium on 19th November 1965.
The original owner is not recorded according to the Heritage Certificate.

I can find no trace of this company.
Does anyone know anything about it?
I have to suppose that the car was purchased by this distributor and then sold on.
Is there anyway I can find out to who?

I would do the opposite: try to go back in time from the person who had the car just before you (the one who sold you the car)

I have already tried that Osgii. this car has been to America and back. I have spoken to the previous owner who bought it from someone shipping cars to the UK from the USA.
I have a name of an owner in Utah, but can get no reply to my enquiries from him, so I thought I would start at the beginning.

Oh sorry, I didn't know that.

It's a very exciting thing to retrace the history of a classic, I wouldn't give up.
Try to contact garages in Brussel, they always have an old chap who remembers the past times. Ask them if they know the garage you're talking about, and if they remember the name of the garage owner. But if the garage that sold the car at first does not exist anymore, it will be really hard to find the name of the first owner of your jag.
