During half way through the Car's the Star E-Type episode presented by Quentin Willson, there is a brief clip of a period film for the new 4.2 model for 1965. Shots of the front, rear, engine and shots of it driving away are shown, whilst the narrator talks overhead describing the new model. To my knowledge, I have never seen this b/w film footage (which appears to be a newsreel) in any TV E-Type documentary apart from this particular Car's the Star episode. I have searched old news sites such as British Pathe and Jaguar publicity films and on youtube, but I haven't been able to locate it. Does anyone know what film footage this is? and where there is an 'unedited' or complete version of it anywhere on the net?.
It appears at the start here:

No it hasn't, shows perfectly well on my screen. I think the commentator is either Alvar Liddell or John Snagge, and it's probably a bit of a cinema newsreel

It is already included in our 'Collectors Corner':

Thanks for that. It does look like some newsreel that was shown in cinemas around the time and I immediately thought of British Pathe, but I haven't come across it on their site, only a few E-Type newsreels and footage come up including the launch film with 77RW which I've seen many times as well as a few others such as Stirling Moss driving his E-Type through a London car wash. I've looked through the 'collectors corner' on here but I don't recall coming across it, unless it's the one taken from the Car's the Star episode. Would love to see this film in its entirety, if it exists anywhere on the net.

I've got a feeling it's Derek Guyler - he was shown in the credits of at least one Jag film.

Yes Peter, Derek Guyler did narrate a Jaguar film but it was the one about building the XK engine I seem to recall. I have it somewhere. I will see if I can find it.

Splendid! The days when 'Health & Safety' consisted of putting on an appropriately coloured coat :D
