Track Day - Bedford Aerodrome in the wet

Hi

I'm planning on taking my 1969 S2 FHC for a day on the track at Bedford Autodrome this weekend. It's an open pit GT category so will be a big mix of cars on track. Unfortunately the weather forecast is heavy rain all day :(

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has been to Bedford circuit and any recommendations / experience on track days in an e-type in the wet.

I've been on track days to Goodwood and Castle Coombe before though always in the dry.

This wet weather is starting to make me feel the jitters and even considering taking my S500 merc instead!

Here's a link to some pics taken on the day - unfortunately the link is only valid until 03 June. As you can see there were quite a few different cars on the track that day. Had a great time but wouldn't say my driving was up to much. I span out a least a couple of time on the day.
