S3 roadster in recent TV episode

Does anyone know of a S3 roadster that was in a TV series or drama, which was shown (from what I was told) on Tues (24th June) night?. It is set in a posh country house, and a chap drives up to it and to the garage showing it off with another character admiring it. Later on, said E-Type is dowsed in petrol in the garage and burned. The shots of the car that are seen in this scene are of the number plate and brief shots of the front and smokey shots through the window. I was told that one of the characters played Nurse Carol Cassidy in Heartbeat (actress Lisa Kay), and starred a few other minor Heartbeat actors. Not sure what channel it was shown on, but definitely freeview, possibly ITV2/3/4, etc. The only series that spring to mind are: New Tricks, Vera, Midsomer Murders, or DCI Banks. Anyone remember seeing this?

EDIT: Apparently series was called The Murder Room - ep "Fire in Paraside", starring Martin Shaw. Red OTS S3 with black soft top featured. Strange nothing shows up about car or series on imcdb.org. Another E-Type destroyed, hope it was a clever mock up or a wreck, but it certainly looked like they set fire to a prestine looking E-Type. Shown on Drama channel on Wednesday night 9pm-11pm.

Even big budget Hollywood films don't torch expensive classics, so it will have been a mockup, same as the white S3 OTS that got blown up after Martin Shaw drove it in The Professionals.

A friend locally has the Ferrari from Ferris Bueller's Day Off in his basement. Gorgeous-looking car until you open the bonnet and see a Chevy V8 and a load of ironmongery supporting the fake fibreglass body.
