Judging by the speed most sportsmen/women go around the Top Gear track he's probably quite capable of taking a D Type round Le Mans and not making a pig's ear of it.

He'd possibly make less of a pig's ear of it if he didn't start by driving off the wrong way round Goodwood....

The white 4.2 E type (with the red interior) is owned by a chum of mine. They had a great time being hosted by Jaguar.

Good one...... Great to see that Jaguar has some money to spend on advertising these days. I was slightly involved (on the periphery) of the reveal of the XE in London - which must have cost a small fortune...... They put myself and a colleague up in a small hotel in London (called The Ritz!) along with some quite influential people - and that was just for the loan of the cars that escorted the new model to Earls Court and onto the stage! What they paid to hire Earls Court 2 for the week, the production of the storyline, the entertainment, the filming... Like I say, good to see they are getting the backing to do this sort of thing....
