OK, I'll admit to having watched Top Gear on Dave whilst making myself a cup of tea and it was the episode with them comparing an S1 OTS and a DB5. Hadn't seen it before, or maybe had before becoming involved with an E Type.
Tried searching the forum but NSJ and 602 brought no results, XKEdata shows it being in South Africa and having been through Eagle's workshop for their 'sport spec'. If it has been covered before please forgive the questions:
What upgrades had been done to this car? There was talk of brakes, cooling, suspension.
Clarkson certainly raved about the great handling.
Can anyone tell us? And in order of benefit/cost say which were the most worthwhile?

From recollection, the best upgrade done was the engine rebuild when Clarkson ran it out of oil
I shouldn't perhaps be too smug, because when I bought my Mini Cooper S and drove it home I managed to do the same thing - in 160 miles
