Dear fellow listers,
I enjoyed much following this forum all along 2014, and I am sure will be enjoying it even more in 2015 as my S1 project unfolds.
What a great knowledge base extended in a friendly and respectful exchange.
Please accept my warmest wishes for this new 2015 so that the story continues and that all your projects realise.
Cheers,

Hi All on the Forum from the Land of Oz (Down under.....), and a happy New Year in 2015. It's here already in Western Australia (2:30 am), but don't worry, it'll arrive there shortly..... :)
We're stuck with another year of having to drive our Jaguars 365 days a year (8.8 hours of sunshine per day on average....) without that character-building snow and rain and slush and salt and grit on the roads that D.O.B. enjoys, but, someone has to do it....
Best regards to All,
Norman
P.S. for Geoff
My first E-Type was also a S2 FHC in Light Blue. Bought it new in November 1969.

Happy new year from germany as well !

I may, theres a fair yet small chance, DRIVE my E-Type (first time since 1977ish) in 2015. Gearbox and Overdrive to finish, fit to engine, put combo in car.

Seek money for head overhaul, maybe do a small bank raid :-), buy some hoses, sell left kidney for oil + fuel + antifreeze in large quantities, fire her up....

We shall see !

I?ll do my very best, Ms. Sophie....

Happy New Year from me as well. Just waiting for the better weather, and the planned trips now. First one is the Isle of Wight, then the Isle of Man, before a self-booked 17-nighter over the Pyrenees. What do others have on the agenda?

Another High Peak Run planned in July ;) Hopefully the 3.8 will be back on the road too. I'm sure we can all bang our heads together and organise a meet somewhere too. :) Happy New Year to all.

You could almost hate some people, honestly! No, not hate the people, just be envious of their good fortune. Lucky you, Norman. Please don't make us too jealous, though.

Oh, and thanks for the Light Blue S2 comment. Mine was first registered in Jan 1970, so will have to wish her happy 45th birthday one day soon.
