#1 AJS Engineering services ??

Post by dal2.0litrefrogeye » Sun Mar 01, 2015 4:05 pm

Hi all ,just a question about AJS engineering , I've been looking at some of the prices on their web site , and for a referb of the rear hub assembly , I can barely match their price just in parts , anyone had work done by them , ( they've been around for many years ) and is quality of parts and work ok ? , I dont want to panny pinch on my rebuild , but I'm always open ideas ,

I was very happy with the work Alan did on my diff rebuild. Lots of other favourable reports on this forum too (search AJS or Slawson).

I Bought some Bits from him, phoned him and he's a VERY friendly guy as well.

Told him that I read about him in a yellow practical Classic mag Series, and he laughed and said he had more hair, back then !

Alan did my rear suspension and I was really pleased with the work and price. Really nice and very old school. He even dropped off the IRS when he was passing.

Had my rear diff refurbished by Alan about 4 years ago, all odd noises conquered, would use him again! He also has done work for etype uk.

Avoid him like the plague! Don't use him! Give him a wide berth!

(Only reason l say this is because we use him and l don't want him overworked.☺
