Hi, I have recently acquired my first e-type a 1971, 2 owner, low mileage series 3, unfortunately the car lived most of it's life in Grimsby. Not that I have anything against that fine town other than the salt content in the air.

The car now lives in Devon and I am looking for someone who I can trust to do a 'proper job' (as we say in Devon) on the bodywork.

I don't mind travelling a reasonable distance to get the quality of work the car deserves and I wonder whether anyone can recommend a suitable company?

I think you must be prepared for a long wait for a good restorer as they tend to be busy and owners will be prepared to go a good distance.

I can recommend Pitt Lane in Winchester - a little closer to you, as well!

They have done a stunning sympathetic restoration on my S3 roadster, and have been great to deal with all the way through.

They only finished a week ago, and the car looks much better than my clumsy photography would suggest:
