#1 S2 with a S1.5 bonnet?

Post by vipergts » Sat Nov 14, 2015 1:10 pm

Would this be possibly correct with a very early chassis number?

Could some of these real early cars have possibly come with a 1.5 bonnet?

No . Bear in mind that there was always a demand for spare bonnets, so Jaguar did not need to use them up at the end of a model as they did with more mundane parts . Far more likely that the original bonnet was crunched or rotted away and was replaced with any old spare

I'd agree...coupled with the fact that this was THE New Car they were hardly likely to throw a bonnet on there with the wrong lights and a mismatch to the rear
